Gutter Installation & Repair in Dallas–Fort Worth

North Texas storms can dump a lot of rain fast. Gutters that are undersized, sagging or dented by hail can send that water over the edge, against your siding and down along your foundation. CGJ Roofing & Construction installs all types of seamless gutters; including aluminum, copper and paint-grip gutters. If home is in a heavy treed area or gutters get clogged with debris, we can install gutter guards and downspouts sized to move water away from your home.

Why It Matters

Why Gutters Matter in North Texas

Foundation protection

Water dumping at the base of your house can add to soil movement around the foundation. Downspouts should carry water away.

Roof edge protection

Overflowing or clogged gutters can back water under the roof edge and rot fascia and decking.

Siding, windows & beds

Controlled drainage keeps water off walls, out of window wells and away from flower beds.

Heavy rain

Intense spring and fall storms can overwhelm small or poorly sloped gutters.

What We Do

Gutter Services

We use high-quality materials and offer seamless, copper and paint-grip gutters, plus gutter guards, so your system can match both your home and your budget.

Seamless gutters

Continuous runs along each section of your roofline, with fewer joints that can leak.

Copper gutters

A premium option that develops a natural patina and complements brick, stone and high-end homes.

Paint-grip gutters

A paint-ready finish so gutters can be painted to match your trim or siding.

Gutter guards

Help keep out leaves, twigs and granules so gutters clog less. Great for homes with overhanging trees.

Gutter replacement

Replacing old, leaking, rusted or sagging gutters.

Hail-damaged gutters

Dented gutters and downspouts are common after hail and often part of a storm claim.

Downspout upgrades

Bigger downspouts, better placement and extensions to carry water away from your foundation.

Gutter repair

Re-securing loose sections, sealing leaking joints and correcting slope.

Sizing

Sized for Texas Rain

Gutter size and downspout placement make the biggest difference in how well your system handles a downpour. Many homes use 5-inch gutters, while 6-inch gutters carry more water for large or steep roofs.

Roof + Gutters

Gutters and Your Roof Work Together

The drip edge needs to direct water into the gutter, and the fascia behind it needs to be sound. When we replace a roof, we check the gutters. When we replace gutters, we check the roof edge. If both need work, doing them together is simpler and avoids damaging new gutters during a later roof job.

FAQ

Gutters FAQ

Are hail-dented gutters covered by insurance?

Hail damage to gutters is often included in a storm claim along with the roof, but coverage depends on your policy. We'll photograph the damage during your free inspection.

What size gutters do I need?

It depends on how much roof area drains into each run and how steep the roof is. Many homes use 5-inch gutters, and larger or steeper roofs often benefit from 6-inch gutters and bigger downspouts. We'll recommend a size during the inspection.

How often should I clean my gutters?

At least twice a year, and more often if trees overhang the roof. Gutter guards can cut down on cleaning. Clogged gutters overflow and can damage the roof edge and fascia.

Why is water pouring over my gutters?

Common causes are clogs, too few or too-small downspouts, gutters that are too small for the roof area, or gutters that aren't sloped correctly.

Can you replace gutters without replacing the roof?

Yes. We'll check the roof edge and fascia while we're there and let you know if anything needs attention.
